We all need our buckets filled - otherwise we will leave

"If it wasn't for these sessions I wouldn't be here (in the team) anymore".

This was piece of feedback today as part of a team programme I am running.

What was it that made the difference?
- Objective, honest, encouragement
- Identifying and acknowledging the strengths he brought to the team
- being able to talk and work through issues that were specific to them
- the extra tools and confidence to give new things a go.

It highlighted the importance of giving people the right tools, encouragement, and support in their role.

It sounds so simple yet can often be overlooked.
